What is Gatorz and can it take a prescription?
Gatorz are aluminium sunglasses machined in the US, adjustable by hand and nearly unbreakable, which is why shooters and police buy them. The 9-base wrap is extreme: a direct prescription stops around -3.00/+2.00, and we usually recommend the Rx insert instead so the edges don't distort.
Which Gatorz model do you have?
The Akon, one of the smaller Gatorz frames, in a medium size, non-prescription. It's the last one in stock.
Can I adjust a Gatorz frame myself?
Yes, that's the point of aluminium: bend the temples and nose pads by hand to fit. Go slowly; it holds whatever shape you give it.
