Can I get prescription lenses for Rudy Project's interchangeable dock system (Rydon, Tralyx)?

Two ways. On some models (the Tralyx among them) the shield itself is made in prescription, which gives the best optics. Where the shield is too curved for that, the RX Solution insert mounts behind it with two separately surfaced lenses. We'll tell you which applies to the frame you pick.

What is ImpactX versus fixed-tint Rudy lenses?

ImpactX is Rudy's photochromic polycarbonate: it goes from category 1 to 3 with the light and exceeds the Z87.1 impact test. Fixed-tint polycarbonate is lighter and scratches less. ImpactX for cycling and changing light; fixed tint if you only ride in full sun. Both come in prescription on the frames that allow it.

Can Rudy Project Rx inserts accommodate progressive prescriptions?

Not well. The insert lens is small and sits behind a deep wrap, which cuts the reading corridor off. Single vision or bifocal work. If you need near vision on the bike, a wide digital single-vision lens with a small add is the usual compromise.

Do Rudy Project lenses have anti-fog for humid conditions?

As an option: a bonded hydrophobic anti-fog treatment, which we'd add for any cycling or running frame and insist on for tropical climates. It adds three to five business days.

What's the warranty on Rudy Project frames and lenses?

Three years on the frame, one on the lenses, one on the RX insert, all against defects. The photochromic reaction is guaranteed for two years; it slows after that, which is normal.
