This upcoming Thursday on October 2nd, the University of Oregon will stand by the tradition of promoting breast cancer awareness. The players will capture the attention of the crowd by running on field wearing prescription sunglasses and uniforms that honor cancer survivors to help support the fight that affects so many people.

Nike and the University of Oregon have partnered for a number of years during the month of October, also known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The uniforms this year will be an all-black Nike Pro Combat system with solid pink accents. The Duck's footwear will be the Nike Vapor Carbon Elite cleats, paired with Nike Vapor Carbon Elite socks and pink Vapor Jet gloves. Even the helmet will pop with it's hits of pink against the black "Titanium Black Eclipse" base color. The team is meant to stand out in unison to show awareness of breast cancer with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund , showing the good spirits of teamwork and kindness that help make possible the organization to battle against women's cancers.
The partnership between the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, Nike and the University of Oregon is very special.
