Running Sunglasses FAQ
What's the best lens tint for running?
Full sun: grey or brown, polarized if road glare bothers you. Changing light: photochromic. Overcast, dawn, dusk: yellow or rose for contrast. Night: clear or light yellow with anti-fog.
Will running sunglasses stay on for a marathon?
The light ones do. Weight is what makes glasses bounce, so TR-90 or carbon-fibre frames, rubber nose pads and temple tips, ideally adjustable pads. A head strap if you've had trouble before. Most take a prescription.
Which running frames do you carry?
Tifosi Swank, Rivet and Crit, and Rudy Project's Propulse. Light half-rims, several with photochromic lenses, and the Crit with a reader segment for the watch.
