The bluDEFENSE Lens feature blue-light control technology built into the lens monomer. This lets beneficial blue-turquoise light pass through the lens while filtering harmful blue-violet light blocking 100 percent of harmful blue light at 420 nanometers.

Clear and transitional lenses should always have an anti-reflective coating. It lets more light through when needed and reduces the hallowing around lights while driving at night.

Your sunglasses can have a mirror coating that reflects light making the lenses darker. You will see the opposite color of what is being reflected in the mirror that others are seeing. For example, a green mirror will have a red hue as you are looking out since the mirror is reflecting the green light.
