Your prescription is bitmapped across the entire lens, giving you the best acuity every 100th inch. One set of lenses are made per frame. Additional lenses can be purchased for interchangeable models. Shield style frames require a prescription insert.

Single vision is for distance only, meaning you don’t need magnification to read.

Round Seg is a digital bifocal without a line across your lenses.

Your sunglasses can have a mirror coating that reflects light making the lenses darker. You will see the opposite color of what is being reflected in the mirror that others are seeing. For example, a green mirror will have a red hue as you are looking out since the mirror is reflecting the green light.

PD

This step tells us where the prescription will be put into the frame. Your PD or Pupillary Distance tells the lab where your eyes are centered in this frame you are using. Not every one is symmetrical so you might have two numbers. If you only have one number is is a combined PD.

PD (combined)

Your PD is the distance between the right pupil and the left pupil. This number does not change once you are an adult. Whoever has made you glasses in the past has this number. It is required for the accuracy of your prescription.
