Foam or rubber gaskets that snap onto certain frames, mostly 7eye and Ziena, and seal the space behind the lens. They keep wind and pollen out and slow tear evaporation, which is why dry-eye and allergy sufferers buy them. They're made for specific models, not a universal add-on; check the product page.

Which frames in this collection come with the eyecup?

7eye AirShield models (Churada, Chubasco, Panhead and the rest), Wiley X Climate Control frames, Ziena, and a few Liberty Sport and Serengeti models. Replacement 7eye eyecups are listed here too.

Can I wear the frame without the cup?

Yes. On 7eye and Ziena the cup pulls off and the frame wears like ordinary sunglasses or eyeglasses; put it back for the ride or the windy day.
