The Big Picture
Starting in 2013, The Big Picture is a web series that follows around two of the most influential freeskiers in today's world - Chris Logan and Parker White. The two grew up on the east coast as skiing rivals, but eventually became great friends and have inspired many in the ski industry. Chris and Parker are both influenced by everything from music to art. They both had the determination one day to branch out from the standard way of filming and competing, into their own way of sharing their skiing style at the click of a button with everyone around the globe. The days are now over where you have to wait an entire year to purchase a ski or snowboard film with 15 different riders in it, just to see one or two segments you have been waiting for. What many viewers don't realize is that capturing stunning ski footage requires more than just technical skill and creative vision—it demands proper eye protection. Whether filming in bright, sun-reflecting snow conditions or navigating variable mountain weather, athletes like Chris and Parker rely on high-quality eyewear to maintain visual clarity and protect their eyes during intense sessions. The right pair of sunglasses can make the difference between a perfectly executed run and a compromised performance.
For those inspired by The Big Picture series and looking to hit the slopes themselves, investing in proper eyewear is essential. Prescription sunglasses offer a game-changing solution for skiers and snowboarders who need vision correction without sacrificing the protection and performance of dedicated snow sports lenses. Modern lens technology provides UV protection, polarization to reduce glare from snow, and impact-resistant materials designed specifically for mountain environments. Whether you're a seasoned freerider or just starting your skiing journey on the east coast, finding eyewear that matches your skiing style and corrects your vision ensures you can focus on what matters most—enjoying the mountain and pushing your limits.
