When light bounces off of a surface its strongest either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The refractive sequence is called Polarization. When Sunlight bounces off a surface like water, metal, road, etc. it will usually bounce horizontally directly hitting you in the eye. Polarized lenses will help eliminate that by blocking the visible light that is being transmitted. Polarized lenses are available in most non-rx frames. We can also put rx prescription sunglasses, polarized lenses into most frames too.
