David Gonzalez is not just a regular skateboarder using prescription sunglasses that happened to make it in the big league. He was first noticed at the age of 13 while skating his home streets of Medellin, Columbia. Now at 23-years-old, he has tackled more things than many adults do in their entire life. He went to his first skatepark at the Tampa Am competition and was competing in X-Games by the age of 16. In 2008 David moved to the U.S., became bilingual, turned pro and won Thrasher Magazine's 'Skateboarder of the year' award along with 120 pages of Editorial work. Total he has been the focus on 126 full page ads and 6 magazine covers. He also learned how to shred guitar in that time. His main focus now is riding with Street League along with producing high-quality videos. David's true hopes are to inspire kids like himself around the world, honoring his roots in skateboarding.
