Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) & Health Savings Acounts (HSA)

What are FSA & HSA Dollars?

They are employer-sponsored benefits programs that allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible health care expenses. Prescription eyewear, including prescription sunglasses and goggles can be covered by your FSA/HAS fund.

What can I get with my FSA & HSA Dollars?

 Prescription Eyeglasses
 Prescription Sunglasses
 Prescription Inserts for Goggles

I am at the checkout, now what do I do?

Most FSA & HSA dollars are placed on a debit card. This debit card can be used in place of a credit card when you checkout. If you do not have a debit card, we can provide you with an itemized receipt with your order which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Do my FSA & HSA dollars ever expire?

Flex Spending Account (FSA) dollars expire after one calendar year. Most insurance starts January 1st, so the FSA dollars would expire December 31st of that same year.  These are also termed as: “Use it or Lose it” dollars.

Health Savings Account (HSA) dollars do not have an expiration date. If you chose not to use them during the year, they will roll over into the next year.
