Trevor Bayne grew up in the great state of Tennessee, being surrounded by all sorts of motorsports. He started riding dirt bikes using prescription sunglasses when he was only 3 years old and moved onto go karts on his fifth birthday, where he fell in love with the competitive nature of the sports on the track. Trevor, like many action sports athletes, have passions for other sports in the industry including surfing, wake boarding, snowboarding and snowmobiling.
Throughout Trevor's pre-teen and teenage years, he competed in an uncountable amount of races, often finishing in the top-five or top-10 of the competitions. In 2008, he got a lift toward his climb in the NASCAR circuit when Dale Earnhardt Inc. signed him to their 'driver development program', whereas after he went on to earn a total of 13 near-top finishes in races. Trevor hit the front page of the action sports world in 2011 when he became the youngest-ever winner of the Daytona 500 and at the same time, pulling off one of the largest upsets in the sports history. He was then pushed up front nationally in the NASCAR scene.
