Electric Welcomes Peter Mendia

Not only did Electric Visual welcome free surf veteran Peter Mendia to the team in September, but they welcomed his waves too. the Florida native is known for his incredible turns and tubes, while standing just over 6'1" tall. Peter has been featured numerous times on the cover of Surfing and Surfer magazine, along with a YouTube video that went viral in 2013 of him tearing up the ocean during Hurricane Sandy.

I'm excited to be a part of the Electric family. I have admired the brand's core style for a long time now. I think it's a good fit for my surfing lifestyle & I'm honored they see me the same way." Pete said earlier this fall. When he's not scouting the world for the greatest waves, Pete can be found at the surf camp that he founded for youth in his hometown, "Mendia Boarding School", or volunteering at charities such as Share the Stoke.
