What are interchangeable sunglasses?
One frame, several lenses: dark or polarized for sun, amber or rose for low light, clear for night. Tifosi, Rudy Project, Revision, Wiley X, RE Ranger and Switch all do it, each with its own way of swapping.
How do the lenses swap?
Tifosi and Rudy Project lenses pop out of the rim by hand. Switch uses magnets. Revision and Wiley X shields slide off the frame. Each product page says what's in the box.
Can I keep the interchangeable feature with a prescription?
With an Rx insert that stays in place while you change the outer lens. Rudy Project, Wiley X and RE Ranger all offer that; some Tifosi frames take prescription lenses directly instead.
