Bolle Sunglasses FAQ

Are Bolle sunglasses safety rated?

Some models are. The B-Line, Tracker and Cobra carry Z87.1+ and turn up on job sites and shooting ranges; lifestyle models like the Anaconda and Holman don't. The product page says which.

Can I get prescription in Bolle safety glasses?

Yes, and the rating survives it: we cut the lenses in polycarbonate or Trivex to the Z87+ standard, so the finished pair is rated, not just the empty frame.

What's the difference between Bolle ski goggle lens tints?

Citrus and Sunrise for flat light and cloud. Amber for changing contrast. Vermilion for partly cloudy days, the safe all-rounder. Bronze and Modulator for bright sun. Phantom is photochromic and adjusts itself, worth it if you tour or ski all day.

Are Bolle sunglasses good for cycling?

The Aeromax and Bolt are built for it: good wrap, anti-fog, light TR-90 frames. Photochromic lenses suit rides that start early; polarized suits bright road glare. Both take a prescription.

Do Bolle high-wrap ski and motocross shields support prescription?

With an insert, and a few shields (the X1000, for one) take a direct prescription. We list the limit on each product page.
