Does the base frame take my prescription?

Yes, it's an ordinary prescription frame. The clip attaches outside the optical zone, so your lenses are cut normally. The clip itself is a flat polarized tint with UV protection and no prescription.

How is EasyTwist different from a magnetic clip?

It locks with a twist instead of a magnet, so it doesn't fall off when you're running or bent over a bike. Your prescription, progressives included, goes in the frame; the shields are plain tint in front of it. Above about ±5.00 the extra layer adds a bit of prism, so we'd steer you to a direct prescription sunglass.

Are EasyTwist frames good for kids?

Yes; several models are 47 to 50 eye and the twist-lock survives being sat on. Polycarbonate lenses on every kids' order.
