Does the base frame take my prescription?
Yes, it's an ordinary prescription frame. The clip attaches outside the optical zone, so your lenses are cut normally. The clip itself is a flat polarized tint with UV protection and no prescription.
Can I get a clip-on for glasses I already own?
Sometimes. Send us the make and model; if the manufacturer makes a clip for it we can order one, and for many metal frames we can make a custom clip. Magnetic clips only fit the frame they were designed for.
Are the clip-on lenses polarized?
On the frames sold with a clip here (EasyClip, Cargo, Takumi, Coolclip, OAK NYC), yes. Custom clips we make for other frames can be polarized or plain, your choice.
