Randolph Aviator

Made in Randolph, Massachusetts, on the same line that supplies the US military, and still the aviator most working pilots wear. We fit prescription lenses in polycarbonate, Trivex or crown glass (glass for milder prescriptions) and keep the teardrop bevel intact. Lifetime warranty on the hinges, one year on lenses.

Ray-Ban is the famous one: bigger lens, more colours and lens options. Randolph is the military one: American-made, a touch smaller, heavier gauge metal, built to a spec. Both are good. If you want the aviator pilots actually wear, it's the Randolph.

52, 55, 58 and 61. The 55 fits most adults; the 58 suits a wide face; the 52 is for narrow faces and many women. The Military SE is the 58 in the exact military spec.
